“And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.” [Matthew 18:6]

Christian education is an important element in raising our children to build strong foundations in life based on the Holy Scriptures. As the saying goes, “Our kids are our future”.

Sunday School gives children the opportunity to focus on Bible stories and principles for Christian living in fellowship with other children in the blessed environment of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Each week we focus on a different story from the Bible. Story-telling and hands-on activities are programmed to ensure children learn in a fun and interactive setting. Facilitators are sensitive to the language needs of children and conduct sessions bilingually.

Sessions are held every Sunday morning from 10:45 am. Regular attendance is highly appreciated and encouraged. Children are also warmly invited to join in Sunday School for a fun learning experience while parents partake in the Divine Liturgy.

All children between the age of 4-12 are most certainly welcome to attend our Sunday school.

Weekly Bible stories and messages are derived from a number of children’s ministry resources. Stories come alive each week with visual displays. Games, puzzle sheets and craft activities enhance lessons and stimulate comprehension in children. Additionally, our Sunday School organises annual concerts and the Christmas Carols at the end of the year. Concerts can be both cultural and religious, mainly related to the five Holy Feasts on the Church calendar.

Our staff are a team of volunteers devoted to teaching and spreading the love of God. They recognise and encourage the significance of commencing religious education in children from an early age.

Our Core Values

Learn more about our values and our story as a church by visiting the about us page.

We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of our church and fully submit ourselves to His will. In every aspect of our ministry our goal is always to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. Therefore, we submit ourselves to its teaching, commit ourselves to do what it says, and yield our lives to become what Christ desires for us to be.

We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, the ministries and activities our church will be characterized by a reliance on personal and corporate prayer in all areas of our lives and ministry.

We believe in the Great Commission commanded to us by Jesus Christ and we are committed to reaching unsaved and unchurched people locally, nationally and worldwide. We will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple the people in our sphere of influence.

We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.
